GUYS, IT'S OKAY TO TALK

THE MIX

As part of Dentsu Aegis Network’s school programme, The Code, students were invited to submit ad campaign ideas tackling issues close to their hearts. Working with 6 young men from The Harris Academy, Croydon, I wrote four short films based on real-life testimonials from The Mix’s website, highlighting struggles with depression, family tensions, body image and love.

Working with the team at 360i, we commissioned the talented director, Harry Hitchens and influencers Josiah Hyacinth and Spencer Elmer to bring these stories to life.

CASE STUDY

The campaign ran across TV, Cinema,

Video-on-Demand and Social Media

“Young men often tell us at The Mix that they find it difficult to express themselves when facing challenges, or dealing with new and unknown feelings. As such, we often see inconsistent engagement with them in our mission to provide under 25s with the information and support they need. It’s been great to work with Dentsu Aegis Network and 360i to produce something that showcases the support that’s there for them if they need it. We’re firmly believe that this campaign will help young people to find their voice and have more honest conversations with those around them.”
